I went to the Flea market/ Brocant at Limoges the other day, near to the Cathederal and stalls everywhere, plenty of places to eat and enjoy a coffee... or tea! I had to resist buying a bundle of stuff but I did find an old green jug I mentioned in a previous post. This painting is from a photo taken next to one of the market stalls. I like the ordinary-ness of it, just a typical image at the market, the stall and its owner were bathed in a golden yellow light as the sun shone through the yellow canopy.
