No excuses I just wanted to paint something other than a winters day or a still life.
Although it isn't so clear on the photo I've used a palette knife to render the highlights in the sky and some of the foliage, I love using thick buttery paint, just the feel of it as it's applied!

It would be WONDERFUL if you would post your work at slightly larger size when it is clicked on so we can appreciate your fabulous use of thick against thin paint!
