Beside the River Glane

I recently took my daughter Jess for a picnic at this spot, it's beside the River Glane near St Junien (you tube link) The painter Corot used to come here from Paris for the Summer just to paint and enjoy the countryside, I can understand why.

  1. I would kill to be able to paint greens as well as you do Nigel. This is gorgeous!

    I enjoyed the video, thanks.

  3. I've really enjoyed catching up with your blog this morning! Each painting is stunning—love your sense of color and texture and how you adapt it to each subject: the impressionistic feel of Blue Parasols and then the stark, almost minimalism of Behind the Barn. Best of luck with the exhibit, hope there's lots of red dots!
