Little London

The approach to Sibford, where I stayed for my recent exhibition. The little thatch cottage is called 'Little London' no idea why, maybe I'll be educated soon! I'm always a sucker for the effects of sunlight as it filters through trees and the dramatic way it can change the landscape.

Little London. OIL, 6" x 8" SOLD

  1. Nigel, I love this painting...love the way the shadows are cast on the road and the color in the roof of the little building next to the cottage. Back from my holiday in the Cotswolds and am starting on a series of cottages! Loved that area.

  3. Your work is always a delight for me. Well executed, gorgeous colors and a trip down memory lane. It doesn't get any better than that.
