Another one of the demonstrations from the recent exhibition, I must say I prefer working in this 'looser' way and have drawn inspiration from the work of Charles Reid. It also gives me a good excuse to fill the house with flowers, found some lovely Anemonies today...look out for them in emails to come!

Nigel, I really love your floral watercolors. They are so fresh and seem so joyfully done that I am in awe! Inspirational to me as I am trying so hard to paint loosely myself and I tend to get lost in realism.
