A Limousin Hamlet

The very small hamlet I sometimes pass on the way to town, three dwellings I think, Monsieur Martial who delivers the wood for my fire lives here, he also owns the old rusty Citroen van I've painted many times.

The River Avon and Warwick castle

I was perched on the edge of the river here after sneaking through the private tennis club early one morning , I liked the broad sweep of the river as it slowly passed by the castle, it was a wet day and there had been several days of rain.
