A watercolour of Traitor's Ford near Sibford, once more I was interested in the dramatic light and subtle reflections in the water. The name 'Trator's Ford' is perhaps associated with a skirmish during the English Civil War when several parliamentarian sympathisers were executed by Royalists. Now it's a great place to go for a paddle when the sun is hot
