This is the little river that flows gently into the large lake at the foot of the
Chateau de Rochechouart. It's a hot day and most of the colours were softened by the strong sun overhead. There was an early showing of white blossom on the tree to the left and the slight breeze was causing it to drift across the river.

Lovely painting. I LOVE the purple in the distance, which contrasts so beautifully with the other colors.
