Another scorcher yesterday, I'm staying on a small dairy farm and didn't have to travel far to find this shady spot to spend the afternoon!

Really hot here today in Sibford, too hot to stay in the studio, so drove around for a while looking for a suitable subject but with some shade too...and it must be the 6th time I've painted here!

From the wednesday watercolour class, this is a new version of the demo I did on the day and much looser than the original. I originally got hung up with all the foliage and flowers (detail) and lost sight of the bigger shapes...something I'm always preaching!
