Bird in the Mirror

I really enjoyed these still life's and experimenting with different props etc, for this I used a large piece of mirror glass, a lemon a Clementine and the brilliant singing bird in the cage!

Weather update: dull and cloudy but occasional outside sitting!

The Grisedale Fells

A busy weekend at the exhibition with plenty of visitors, I'm painting while there and sold one 'off the easel' today. As I know how desperate you must be to know how the weather was; warm and sunny with occasional sitting outside!

Half way through the two week exhibition now and a fairly good week for visitors and sales, the Artweeks festival begins tomorrow for the North of Oxfordshire so should see a lot more visitors...so more opportunities to discuss the rotten weather!
