Sarah's Sink No. 4

Sarah's sink revisited, I love the way the sunlight casts bright reflected ligh on the tiles behind the tap. I used very thick impasto paint to render the old window frame and tiles in the sink. A tonal exercise with muted greys and crisp highlights.

Sarah's Sink No. 4. OIL on canvas panel 6" x 8" SOLD

  1. What looks like a really boring subject, you have made into a brilliant painting

  2. This is a show stopper - you should not sell it.
    Thanks for making my day!

  3. This really caught my eye! What great light, and you've captured it so well. Really beautiful.

  4. Beautiful variety of surfaces and textures! And light!

  5. I love the way you paint! This is so compelling . . . gorgeous light and use of paint.

I was getting your images by email but a few months ago, was notified by blogger that I had been unsubscribed. I hadn't done anything to unsubscribe so wondered if it was a blogger glitch? This has also happened with another artist's emails. Mystery.
