Inside the church of Les Salles Lavauguyon are to be found some of the finest examples of fresco's in the whole of France, they were uncovered by accident in 1986. I took a painting workshop there in the Summer and we spent all day in it's cool interior, only stopping for a picnic on the grass outside, a lovely day!
