Lakeside Reflections

Another painting from the exhibition. This was the second attempt to paint this scene, I was getting lost with detail in the reflections and the light was very dull. I left it for 20 minutes and when I came back the light had completely changed and the evening sun was catching the tops of the tall Beech Trees. I ripped up the first attempt and completed this just before the sun vanished completely
