This little pale blue shed sits behind my house in the smallholding that belongs to the family of Roger who sadly passed away over a year ago, he kept all kinds of small animals, mostly for the pot and a very large vegetable garden (potager) the tools he used to work it with lived here. He would sit on the bench next to the shed after the days work.

This is beautiful, Nigel...a very touching story behind it, too. :o)
ReplyDeleteA very beautiful painting .. the light is quite lovely and it has a real atmosphere to it. And I can imagine your friend sitting on the bench after his days' work. A very apt memorial to him.
